I feel that people are setting the "Article Stubs" category on pages that don't deserve it. Two recent places I have seen this are:
I realize that neither of those is voluminous in their descriptions, but they both seem fine. Given that there are 716 characters to document, the above two pages seem to have plenty of description. I can't tell if they were accidentally added to "Article Stubs", or if the two editors felt that they qualified for that category, but I don't think they qualify.
Wanted to see if it was just me or if anyone else noticed this. Previously, I could get a new high score for a character (say, Chef Stitch) and when I closed and reopened the app, the score would be back where it was before. But since the bug fix that just came out, the character’s high score has actually been updating to show the new progress. Let me know if this is also true for you! It would be great to update the glitches and call this one fixed.
The categories have gotten a little out of control and I'm hoping to pare down some of these categories. Some of them are duplicates, like the "human" vs. "humans" categories. There are a few others that are the same thing (slightly different spelling or wording) and should be combined. What is the media category for? I see a lot of pages in this category, but no clear sense of why they are in this category. Just looking for clarification there. I don't think we need an "Abstract" category since there are only 3 figures that match that description, all from the same world. Opinions? Do we need a seperate category for "Monster Inc. Heros"? I think we should look at the categories and see which ones are actually useful and what's just cluttering up the pages and potentially confusing people.
I'm starting to go through the pages and clean them up as necessary, adding to descriptions and making sure they are as up to date as possible. I'm hoping there are still some of you out there who can lend a hand! I'm still learning some of the coding, and I'm at a complete loss as to how to make a better picture of the figures that's not just a cropped screenshot. Any help would be very appreciated, I want to try make the wiki as spic and span as possible before the new update happens.
The wiki says that Witch Lilo is not released, but I just got her the other day (from the green ticket machine) and she works perfectly fine. Just looking for clarification.
We must operate under the assumption that staff will not remove Gogobell from power unless we have this poll.
THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO DISCUSS YOUR OPINION. JUST VOTE
Gogobell has vandalised both DCR Wiki and TIC Wiki, rendering one wiki completely unusable.
I am for removing Gogobell as bureaucrat.
Hey, guys!
We were targeted by vandalism. You may notice some changes have happened. We are trying to restore everything. We're also trying to restore The Immersive Communities wiki, Which Gogobell also attacked.
Please be understanding of what's going on.
If you want to apply for the newly vacant admin slot, please say so in this thread. I'll leave this open for ~3-5 days. I'll take it down sometime over the weekend, no later than Monday (I'm on Eastern Time). So get your applications in by Saturday to be sure it can be accepted.
In your application, please include the following:
1) Any previous admin experience
2) Notable contributions to this wiki
3) Significant experience on other wikis.
4) A "developer" page that you have created. In order to create one, go to the Hipster Whale and Mighty Games or Team Disney figure lists.
5) Any other relevant information that you want us to know (not required)
Past behavior and having a non-generic avatar are also important factors, but not necessarily needing to be mentioned
So yeah... I've been gone awhile...
First I would like to say I'm really sorry I've been gone and there was nothing I could do about it. This comunitiy is very important to me and I'm so sorry for being gone so long.
Second, I have seen the vote to remove me as a Bureaucrat and I understand. I'm not mad or anything don't worry I've been gone for so long I'm suprised it did't happen sooner.
I agian wouldlike to say sorry for leaving this wonderful community and acidently treated some users unfairly due me not being active. I am so sorry.
(Don't let this message effect your vote please)
Sora's Universe has been very inactive lately. They've made two posts since December 18. In order to get Wikia staff to remove their bureaucrat rights, we have to have a vote on it.
This is not a place for debate, this is only a place to state your position. Please do not do anything more than that.
Let us know if you Support or Do not support removing Sora from the position of bureaucrat.
My personal vote is Support
Hey guys!
I was looking for an off topic board but we don't have one apprently anywho I just thought I should tell y'all that on the "fun creativity wiki"(No kid that's what it's called) you can post stories(Is this to off topic?) and I wanted to invite everyone to read a new show (A parody show(Cartoon Network Parody)) that premieres tomorrow!
You see I had no idea how to contact you about it cause I wanted some of my friends to try!
But no off topic board so.. I picked the social board!
Well off topic? Hilarious? Excited? Please tell me in the replies!
This weekend (5-7 Jan 18) Challenge (Mickey and Friends) is not starting until Saturday?
If I am ever at the point where I have all non-secret figures, will the prize machine stop letting me try for new ones? The reason I ask is because a large number of my Pixel tokens come from "losses" on the prize machine, and I'd be very unhappy if that stopped working. With Genie in the Lamp, repeat characters from the prize machine pay an average of around 70 pixels for Classic characters, and more for more rare characters, while coin-to-pixel conversion only pays 25 pixels for every 100 converted. (For that matter, even without Genie in the Lamp, repeat characters average around 35 for Classic ones, so the 25% conversion route is only really useful at all if you're early in the game and are more anxious to have pixels than new characters.)
